I had some problems solving some of the puzzles in the game so I bought this guide. The guide is okay. It is helpful in guiding players to what is ahead and what they will face but useless in helping solve the majority of the puzzles. The most difficult puzzles in Saw are the electrical boxes and this guide doesn't help you (it can't because the solution(s) changes with each game-play). I solved the entire game in about 3 days with the help of youtube. If you are stuck on certain puzzles, it is better to look at youtube for a better understanding rather than looking at this guide.

THIS GUIDE IS POINTLESS! ITS DOES NOT SHOW ALL THE POSIBBLE SOLUTIONS FOR ALL THE CIRCUIT PANEL PUZZLES. ITS DOES NOT SHOW STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO COMPLETE THE CIRCUIT PANELS. I PURCHASED THE GUIDE BECAUSE I WAS STUCK TRYING TO FREE OSWALD, YOU NEED TO COMPLETE 3 CIRCUIT PANELS WITHIN A TIME LIMIT AND THE PANELS WOULD GET HARDER. AT ONE POINT I WAS GONNA QUIT BECAUSE I SPEND ALMOST 4 DAYS TRYING TO PASS THAT PART. THE GUIDE JUST SAYS.(COMPLETE THE CIRCUIT PANELS TO FREE OSWALD) IT DOES NOT SHOW ALL THE POSSIBLE PANELS BECAUSE IF U DIE, THE NEXT PANELS WOULD BE RANDOM! SAVE YOUR CASH AND GO TO YOUTUBE BETTER. WHAT I DID WHEN I GOT TO MY PANELS I JUST PAUSED MY GAME AND LOOKED FOR THE EXACT SAME PANELS ON YOUTUBE, IF THEY WERE NOT THE SAME I WOULD JUST RESTART UNTIL I FOUND THE 3 EXACT ONES I WAS DEALING WITH. TOOK ME A WHILE BUT I FINNALY SAVES OSWALD!!!!!!!!!!!!

This guide is useful if you use the turn by turn descriptions as the game is very dark and it is sometimes easy to get lost. It helps with the pipe puzzles and some of the gear puzzles as these are not randomized. It can't help with the puzzles that are randomized (mostly the circuitry puzzles).

It describes all of the trophies, but doesn't really give any special tips on how to earn them. This is a common failing of many guides.
